<br />(c) <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />8115/00 <br /> <br />Naming the City of Redwood City, its Council, its officers, boards, <br />commissions, employees, and agents, as additional insureds; and <br />Providing that Contractor's insurance coverage shall be primary <br />insurance with respect to City, its Council, officers, boards, commissions, <br />employees, and agents, and any insurance or self-insurance maintained by <br />City for itself, its Council, officers, boards, commissions, employees, or <br />agents shall be in excess of Contractor's insurance and not contributory <br />with it. <br /> <br />NON-DISCRIMINATION <br /> <br />Contractor shall comply with the non-discrimination requirements <br />described below: <br /> <br />Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Pursuant to Section 514 (Public Law 93-112), the Contractor <br />agrees that no otherwise qualified persons with disabilities shall, <br />solely by reason of a disability, be excluded from the participation <br />in, be denied benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination in the <br />performance of this contract or in the selection of low income <br />owners to purchase the dwelling to be built on the "Property." <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />Compliance of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, <br />as amended, requires that all benefits, aids and services are made <br />available to persons with disabilities on an equivalent basis with <br />those received by non-disabled persons. Contractor shall agree to <br />be in compliance with Section 504 requirements by developing a <br />plan for compliance to be submitted to the Section 504 <br />Coordinator as soon as possible but not later than by the close of <br />escrow for this acquisition. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Affirmative Action. <br /> <br />Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with the Equal Employment <br />Opportunity Requirements of Executive Order No 11246, as amended by <br />Executive Order No 1375, Title vn of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the <br />California Fair Employment Practices Act and any other federal or state <br />laws pertaining to equal employment opportunity, and that it will not <br />discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment or <br />opportunity to purchase the dwelling to be built on the "property." on the <br />basis of race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, physical <br />or mental disability, marital status, sexual preference, or political <br />
