Mr. Stuart said it was the recommendation of the above <br />committee that park names correspond to the planning area des- <br />ignation of the developers; that ibeis hoped that the city of <br />Belmont will consider the same names with regarq, to naming of <br />school. Mr. Stuart entered the motion to recommend to Council <br />that the park presently called IINeighborhood Park #1" be renamed <br />MARLIN PARK, seconded by Commissioner Thompson, and passed. <br /> <br />(Mr. Knecht took over as chairman) <br /> <br />Conunissioner Stuart entered the motion to recommend to Council <br />that the main park in the Dolphin Planning area be called DOLPHIN <br />PARK: the main park bounded by Shell, Lagoon and Peninsula park- <br />ways be called STEINBERGER PARK: that the two areas adjacent, <br />under and through Bridge Parkway be called BRIDGE PARK: and that <br />the site about Shell Parkway formerly designated as a community <br />park be called SHELL PARK, seconded by Commissioner Schenck. <br /> <br />(c) Dedication (Marlin Park): Commissioner Thompson moved to <br />recommend to the City Manager that dedication of Marlin Park be <br /> <br />, .' <br /> <br />
