<br />8 <br /> <br />'\ <br /> <br />i <br /> <br />THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDED JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THIS AMENDED AGREEMENT, entered into this ót:3r~ <br />day of H'""'# , ~ þ'o, by and between those <br /> <br />Cities and the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO that are signatories to this <br /> <br />Amendment to the Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the <br /> <br />"Cities" "City" and "County" as the context requires), <br /> <br />N 1. :r N ~ ~ ~ ~ :r H: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties hereto entered into an agreement <br /> <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "Original Agreement") in <br /> <br />September 1991, for the furnishing of certain services by a <br /> <br />contractor to Cities and County as set forth in that Original <br /> <br />Agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Original Agreement was first (1st) amended on <br />March 9, 1993, and amended a second (2nd) time on April 8, 1997; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is now the mutual desire and intent of the <br /> <br />parties hereto to amend and clarify the Original Agreement a <br /> <br />third (3rd) time; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED between the parties that <br /> <br />the amended Original Agreement is amended as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Section 8, Contribution of Parties, of the Original <br /> <br />Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"8. <br />. <br /> <br />Contribution of Parties <br /> <br />Unless amended by the Board of Directors, the <br /> <br />annual contributions of Cities and County shall be as follows: <br /> <br />63620 <br />
