DES:djk_ 09/15/a92 (114/32) <br /> O R I G I N A L 9/21/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11849 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS <br /> SYSTEM FOR THE NEW POLICE FACILITY; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br /> RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11780 , adopted July 6 , <br /> 1992 , the City Clerk advertised for bids for the construction and <br /> installation of telecommunications system for the New Police <br /> Facility; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three bids were <br /> received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, NEC Business Communication Systems (West) , Inc. of <br /> Pleasanton, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it <br /> is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of <br /> said bidder; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . The bid of NEC Business Communication Systems (West) , <br /> Inc. , in the amount of Two Hundred Twenty-four Thousand Seven <br /> Hundred Eighty-one and 59/100 Dollars ($224 ,781 . 59) , computed in <br /> accordance with said bidder' s proposal dated August 17 , 1992 , for <br /> the construction and installation of telecommunications systems <br /> for the New Police Facility is hereby accepted, and said bidder <br /> is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> for said work. <br />
