DES : dft 9/2/92 (058/30) <br /> O R I G I N A L 9/21/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11848 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH SHELTER NETWORK OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> FOR HOMELESS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM <br /> (CDBG) <br /> WHEREAS , Shelter Network of San Mateo County ("Shelter <br /> Network") conducts a transitional housing program for homeless <br /> families of the City of Redwood City under the designation, <br /> "Emergency Shelter" (the "Program") ; and <br /> WHEREAS, Shelter Network has requested financial assistance <br /> in order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br /> July 1 , 1992 , and ending June 30 , 1993 ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the City of Redwood city has reviewed said request <br /> and desires to allocate to Shelter Network the sum of Ninety <br /> Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($90 , 000 . 00) from its Couuniunity <br /> Development Block Grant funds for the Program; and <br /> WHEREAS , an agreement providing for such funding has been <br /> presented to , and reviewed by, the Council; and <br /> WHEREAS , it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Redwood Family House" , <br /> (form dated 9/15/92) , by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> Shelter Network of San Mateo County, a copy of which agreement is <br /> on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference <br /> is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, <br />
