Mr. Balzarini suggested that a committee get <br />together and write up a project and asked Dave Willis to serve with <br />him. Commissioner Stuart noted that the age designation would seem <br />to eliminate most juniors. Mr. Whitmore would recommend that only <br />juniors be involved: asked that the matter be continued. to February. <br /> <br />17 - CPRS CONFERENCE - FRESNO: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Commissioner Thompson had advised that the Commission was entitled to <br />have three commiss'ioners attend this conference. <br /> <br />Commissioner Stuart moved to recommend that Commissioner Schenck be <br />designated as the third Commissioner, rather than as alternate, to <br />attend the conference, seconded by Commissioner Guida, and passed. <br /> <br />18 - MONTHLY REPORTS- <br /> <br />. - - <br /> <br />Park Department - monthly reports for Park Department and Veterans"' <br />Building received. <br />Recreation Department ~ report will be included in next month's report. <br /> <br />19 - ~OUNDTABLE - Discussion on old or new business by Commissioners, <br />Director of Recreation, Park Superintendent, G.A.P. Students: <br /> <br />Commissioner Guida inquired if Budget Committee going to be consider- <br />ing acquisition of Armory Building. Mr. Ullrich said the general in <br />charge of the Armory has said if we want the building to build them <br />another of the same standard. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Commi~s~one~ Schenck complimented Commissioner Guida on the news <br />article and picture of him in the Tribune. <br /> <br />Commissio~er Stuart suggested that the Commission go on record as <br />being proud of the 4ger Football Team and to invite Mr. Spadia to <br />attend a commission meeting, and asked that the Secretary write a <br />letter to this effect. <br />
