Commission discussion included: that the presentation -drawings, models,' concept', etc. were outstanding and the commission expressed its- appreciation for it; that until we had additional men in the park dept. to maintain such installations, was the commission right in encouraging additional projects; Mr. Balzarini stated that he had not been consulted in the presented plan and thus they-had not been checked out by his department;. that it had initially been hoped that this would 'be a community' involvement project with neighborhood proponents helping on maintenance, construction, etc., but that while this might be-handled this way at this time that there is a fluctuating turn-over of residents - in this area and maintenance would probably fall to the city; that con- . cept and equipment as proposed could be. used in many parts of the city; ~hat Mr. Paulson would present his ideas' and plans' to the neighborhood group and then bring the matter back to the Commission.
