Commissioner Haynes also asked about a tour of tþe facilities, <br />stating that he would go with ~s. Thompson on Saturday morning to check <br />out all the various recreational facilities in Redwood City. <br /> <br />Mrs. Terrill had nothing to report. <br /> <br />Mr. Guida visited the recreation center. Very pleased with the work <br />going on regarding the remodeling and the fact that it wasn't interfer- <br />ing with the play area. <br /> <br />Mr. Knecht ,__was concerned regarding the mini parks ~nd tc? get people <br />inrolved wi~ the areas in a~ other part of t~ and asked~. ~ynes <br />to give him some ideas for mini parks there. <br /> <br />Mr. Schenck had nothing to report. <br /> <br />Mr. Stuart had nothing to report. <br /> <br />., , <br /> <br />~ . <br /> <br />There were some considerations in the general discussion ~ollowing <br />this. The property on Santa Clara, which is out of the city limits <br />of Redwood City, possibly could be used by the Juventes or some other <br />group for their action. This is actually surplus property of the <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Redwood City Elementary School District. It was suggested that they <br />go to ch~~ these ~ople ~~. <br /> <br /> <br />Mrs. Terrill notèd that the Fun After Fifty Club luncheon was a <br /> <br />"> <br /> <br /> <br />delightful luncheon and she admired their enthusiasm. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 p.m. until Wednesday, May 12. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Those attending the barbecue at Huddart Park are Terrill, Haynes, <br />Guida, Knecht, Thompson and Stuart. <br /> <br />
