FXS:cb 7/13/92 (034/31) <br /> /05/92R <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo has performed an Initial <br /> Study and has determined that the proposed Joint Source Reduction <br /> and Recycling Element will have no significant environmental <br /> impacts and that a Negative Declaration is appropriate; and <br /> WHEREAS , the City of Redwood City Planning Department in its <br /> capacity as a "responsible agency" , has reviewed the <br /> environmental document under the "informal consultation" <br /> requirements of CEQA Guidelines Section 15063 (g) and has <br /> concurred in the processing of a Negative Declaration for the <br /> Joint Source Reduction and Recycling Element; and <br /> WHEREAS , the County Planning Division has circulated the <br /> Negative Declaration to the State Clearinghouse and the <br /> "responsible agencies, " including the City of Redwood City, for <br /> review for a 30-day period from May 14 , 1992 to June 12 , 1992; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo, as lead agency, has <br /> responded to all comments received during the comment period. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> On the basis of the Initial Study, comments received <br /> thereto, and testimony presented and considered at the public <br /> hearing, that there is no substantial evidence that the project <br /> will have a significant effect on the environment. <br /> This Council finds that the Negative Declaration for the <br /> Joint Source Reduction and Recycling Element reflects the <br /> 2 11822 <br />
