DES : dft 8/12/92 (042/31) nuisance to children; (ii) a harbor for vagrants , criminals or immoral persons ; or as to (iii) enable persons to resort thereto for the purpose of committing unlawful acts . (12) The building or structure has been constructed, exists or is maintained in violation of any specific requirement or prohibition applicable to such building or structure provided by the building regulations of this City, as specified in the Uniform Building Code, 1979 Edition, or of any law or ordinance of this state or city relating to the condition, located or structure of buildings. (14) The building or structure, used or intended to be used for dwelling purposes , because of inadequate maintenance , dilapidation, decay, damage, faulty construction or arrangement , inadequate light , air or sanitation facilities , or otherwise , is determined by the health officer to be unsanitary, unfit for human habitation or in such condition that is likely to cause sickness of disease. (16) The building or structure is in such a condition as to constitute a public nuisance known to the common law or in equity jurisprudence. (Section 9 . 5 (b) ) The building or structure is determined to be a fire hazard because of its condition, arrangement or act which increases or may cause an increase of the hazard or menace of fire to a greater degree than that customarily recognized as normal by persons in the public service of preventing, suppressing or extinguishing fire , or which may obstruct , delay or hinder, or may become the cause of obstruction, delay or hindrance to the prevention, suppression or extinguishment of fire. 3 . The owner of the building at 406 Cedar Street is hereby directed to abate such public nuisance within thirty (30) days from the date of this hearing by either (a) properly reconstructing or repairing such building or (b) razing or removing such building. 11821
