DES:djk 05/11/92 (047/32) <br /> O R I G I N A L 8/17/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11819 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES <br /> (SOUTH BAYSIDE SYSTEM AUTHORITY) <br /> WHEREAS , the City of Redwood City and the South Bayside <br /> System Authority ( "SBSA" ) , a public entity established pursuant <br /> to joint exercise of powers agreement, entered into an agreement <br /> dated January 8 , 1987 (the "Basic Agreement" ) , pursuant to which <br /> the City has performed certain professional accounting and <br /> financial services for the SBSA; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to paragraph 4 of the Basic Agreement the <br /> parties renewed and extended the term and revised the <br /> compensation payable thereunder pursuant to amendments thereto <br /> dated June 16 , 1987 (the "First Amendment" ) , June 22 , 1988 (the <br /> "Second Amendment") , June 21 , 1989 (the "Third Amendment") , and <br /> June 18 , 1990 (the "Fourth Amendment" ) , and July 8 , 1991 (the <br /> "Fifth Amendment") ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the parties to the Basic Agreement desire to renew <br /> and extend the term thereof and revise the compensation payable <br /> thereunder for the period July 1 , 1992 - June 30 , 1993 ; and <br /> WHEREAS , a Sixth Amendment to the Basic Agreement providing <br /> for the foregoing has been presented to, and reviewed by this <br /> Council and this Council desires to approve and authorize the <br /> execution thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br />
