DES:djk 07/27/92 (092/32) <br /> ORIGINAL 8/17/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 11816 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br /> ONE (1) STREET SWEEPER UNDER THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASE <br /> PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA BID #IBF 91-92-65 <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2 . 80 the City <br /> of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br /> Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br /> materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> WHEREAS , the City of Santa Rosa, Bid #IBF 91-92-65 includes <br /> a Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public <br /> agencies the opportunity to purchase equipment from G.C.S. Inc. ; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of Santa Rosa <br /> conforms to the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2 . 80; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS , it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> purchase one (1) Street Sweeper from G.C.S . Inc . pursuant to the <br /> Cooperative Purchase Provision of the City of Santa Rosa Bid #IBF <br /> 91-92-65; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br /> of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of one (1) Street <br /> Sweeper from G.C.S . Inc. for a total cost of One Hundred Thousand <br /> Eight Hundred Twenty-seven and 60/100 Dollars ($100 , 827 . 60) <br />
