Council Member Hartnett stated that Fire Chief Kohlmann appreciated the <br />previous opportunity to present a report on the City's preparedness and upon <br />request is prepared to return to re- emphasize that plan and what to expect from <br />our public resources. <br />9. ADJOURNMENT — 9:00 p.m. <br />M/S Pierce /Howard to adjourn until the next regular City Council meeting of <br />September 26, 2005. Vice. Mayor Pierce requested adjournment in memory of Wilda <br />Gardella Hill, who attended Sequoia High, attended San Francisco State and taught <br />in the Redwood City School District for 38 years as a primary grade school teacher. <br />She was a beloved teacher for maintaining high standards and helping students to <br />succeed in school and life. She served on numerous community groups and was a <br />true asset to the community. <br />Council Member Howard requested adjournment in honor of those who perished on <br />September 11, 2001 and the family and friends who carry on without them. <br />The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Patricia S.
