The staff is working toward establishing a pre-evaluation process with the Program Committee and can hope- fully work out a timing so that these items can be brought before the Commission well, in advance of the publication dates. Staff has also met with Canada Community College representatives to discuss coordination to avoid duplication of some of the programs offered. Another meeting is scheduled for December 6, 1973. Commissioner Knecht moved that the Commission accept the Winter Program Sched- ule, seconded by Commissioner Rollins. Ayes: Commissioners Gaida, Haynes, Knecht, Rollins, Schenck and Weintraub. Nays: None Motion carried. AGENDA ITEM 2 - Reevaluation of Rules ~ Regulations for Community Actiiities Building --- JIIIVlJ ---- l L u- r.t!... T n ~-l J .b..... - !ndr Vetera~~ M~morial B~!ldin¡ The Rules and Regulations were revised briefly considering legal aspects and coordin- ating with City ordinances. Mr. Weeks mentioned that a name change for the Veterans Memorial Building is not now possible due to various legal restraints as advised by the City Attorney's office. Commissioner Haynes moved to accept the Rules and Regulations as written, seconded by Commissioner Rollins on the question. Ayes: Commissioners Guida, Haynes, Knecht, Rollins, Schenck and Weintraub Nays: None Motion carried. There was an inconsistency found in the fee schedule pertaining to a 25t non-resident charge. This was checked out and verified to be a 25t increase in fees for non-res. ident use of the buildings. Commissioner Guida moved to accept and recommend to the City Council the fee sched~le with the 25t fee change as outlined for the Community Activities Building and the Veterans Memorial Building, seconded by Commissioner Rollins. Ayes: Commissioners Guida, Haynes, Knecht, Rollins, Schenck and Weintraub ,. Nays: None Motion Carried. Building Use Application blanks will be revised in accordance with the newly revised Rules and Regulations and the administrative procedure will be initiated for implemen- tation. The new fee schedule will be implemented as soon as the matter is approved by the City Council.
