The staff is working <br />toward establishing a pre-evaluation process with the Program Committee and can hope- <br />fully work out a timing so that these items can be brought before the Commission well, <br />in advance of the publication dates. <br /> <br />Staff has also met with Canada Community College representatives to discuss coordination <br />to avoid duplication of some of the programs offered. Another meeting is scheduled <br />for December 6, 1973. <br /> <br />Commissioner Knecht moved that the Commission accept the Winter Program Sched- <br />ule, seconded by Commissioner Rollins. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Commissioners Gaida, Haynes, Knecht, Rollins, Schenck and Weintraub. <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM 2 - Reevaluation of Rules ~ Regulations for Community Actiiities Building <br /> <br />--- JIIIVlJ ---- l L u- r.t!... T n ~-l J .b..... - <br /> <br />!ndr Vetera~~ M~morial B~!ldin¡ <br /> <br />The Rules and Regulations were revised briefly considering legal aspects and coordin- <br />ating with City ordinances. Mr. Weeks mentioned that a name change for the Veterans <br />Memorial Building is not now possible due to various legal restraints as advised by the <br />City Attorney's office. <br /> <br />Commissioner Haynes moved to accept the Rules and Regulations as written, <br />seconded by Commissioner Rollins on the question. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Commissioners Guida, Haynes, Knecht, Rollins, Schenck and Weintraub <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />There was an inconsistency found in the fee schedule pertaining to a 25t non-resident <br />charge. This was checked out and verified to be a 25t increase in fees for non-res. <br />ident use of the buildings. <br /> <br />Commissioner Guida moved to accept and recommend to the City Council the <br />fee sched~le with the 25t fee change as outlined for the Community Activities <br />Building and the Veterans Memorial Building, seconded by Commissioner Rollins. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Commissioners Guida, Haynes, Knecht, Rollins, Schenck and Weintraub <br /> <br />,. <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Building Use Application blanks will be revised in accordance with the newly revised <br />Rules and Regulations and the administrative procedure will be initiated for implemen- <br />tation. The new fee schedule will be implemented as soon as the matter is approved <br />by the City Council. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
