<br />7. <br /> <br />ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE SALES WILL NOT BE SOLD OR SERVED AT <br />THE EVENT. <br /> <br />INSURANCE: Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and <br />property damage insurance naming the City of Redwood City, it Council, <br />boards, commissions, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents as <br />insureds, or additional insureds, insuring the same against all claims for <br />personal injury or death to any person or persons resulting or arising from <br />the conducting of the activities herein permitted, or alleged to have <br />resulted or alleged to have arisen therefrom, or from any act or omission to <br />act, of Permittee in connection therewith, in the amounts of $1,000,000 for <br />each person and $1,000,000 for each occurrence, and property damage <br />insurance for damage or injury to, or destruction of property, including the <br />loss of use thereof, in the amount of $1,000,000. Evidence of such <br />insurance coverage in form satisfactory to the City shall be furnished by <br />Permittee to the City at least ten (10) days prior to commencement of the <br />event. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />DAMAGE TO PUBLIC PROPERTY: Permittee shall reimburse the City for <br />the costs for any damage to City owned property, caused by or arising out <br />of, the conducting of the activities permitted hereunder, or the acts, or <br />omissions to act, of persons participating in said event. All signs or other <br />markings placed in or upon public property, including the public right-of- <br />way in connection with the activity shall be removed immediately following <br />said event. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate <br />and applicable rules, regulations and laws in connection with the <br />conducting of said event, or any activities associated therewith, This <br />permit shall be in addition to all other permits, which are or may be <br />required for conducting said event, or any activity associated therewith. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />HOLD HARMLESS: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify <br />and save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards, <br />commissions, employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions, <br />damages, or claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or <br />nature whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of the performance or <br />failure to perform of Permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or <br />arising out of said event herein permitted. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />CITY SERVICES: The City agrees to provide the following: <br />*Normal police patrol during the event. <br />*Barricades at street closure points. City crews will drop them off. <br />Permittee will erect them and take them down. <br /> <br />2 <br />
