<br />AGREEMENT <br />for <br />FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES <br /> <br />ORfGINAL <br /> <br />(PARAMEDIC COORDINATION) <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into thi,,2.-?- iy Of~ 1997, by <br />and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br /> <br />("City") and the WOODSIDE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, a fire protection district in the <br /> <br />County of San Mateo, State of California, organized pursuant to Section 13801, et seq., of the <br /> <br />Health and Safety Code ("District"), <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City intends to develop an Advanced Life Support Program in order to <br /> <br />.' provide the most efficient fire protection service to City; and <br />WHEREAS, City is required to be accreditfJd by the San Mateo County Department of <br /> <br />Health Services (the "Department") in order to provide the Advanced Life Support Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, prior to receiving accreditation from the Department, City intends to enter <br /> <br />into an agreement with the District for the use of a paramedic coordinator and the use and <br /> <br />purchase of equipment and supplies; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby agreed hy the parties heretCJ as fo!!ows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />District Services.
