9/11/00 <br />0 R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14037 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT HOUSING <br />ORGANIZATION (CHDO) OPERATING EXPENSES <br />(HUMAN INVESTMENT PROJECT) <br />WHEREAS, The Human Investment Project (Contractor) conducts a Self Sufficiency <br />Program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br />Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirteen Thousand, Seven Hundred Fifty Four and <br />No /100 Dollars ($13,754.00.00) from its HOME Partnership Investment Program funds for <br />the foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said agreement <br />and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Community Development Housing Organization <br />(CHDO) Operating Expenses," (form dated 8/15/00), by and between the City of <br />Redwood City and the Human Investment Project, a copy of which agreement is on file in <br />8/15/00 1 <br />
