Services Director 780-7240 dnelson(á}redwoodcity.org <br /> <br />Recommendations: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Introduce an Urgency Interim Ordinance requiring the production of housing units as a <br />condition of office development (Work Force Housing Production Ordinance): <br /> <br />INTERIM URGENCY ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />HOUSING OR THE PAYMENT OF A FEE IN-LIEU THEREOF WITH RESPECT <br />TO OFFICE DEVELOPMENTS WITHIN SPECIFIED ZONING DISTRICTS IN <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Direct staff to complete further studies and take the issue to the Planning Commission <br />for further recommendations to the City Council regarding amending the Zoning <br />Ordinance for the purpose of establishing a work force housing production requirement <br />for all office development; <br /> <br />C) Report 3 - Bair Island Road Study Area; Interim Urgency Ordinance to enact <br />moratorium on all development in the Bair Island Study Area, and include an <br />exception for development agreements.
