9/11/00 <br />O R I 9 I l A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14021 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR FAIR HOUSING COUNSELING <br />PROGRAM <br />(MIDPENINSULA CITIZENS FOR FAIR HOUSING) <br />WHEREAS, Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing (Contractor) conducts a <br />fair housing counseling program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the <br />Program); and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirty Eight Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifteen and <br />no /100 Dollars ($38,315.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for <br />the foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
