9/11/00 <br />0 R I f, I a A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14018 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY <br />MODIFICATION PROGRAM <br />(CENTER FOR THE INDEPENDENCE <br />OF THE DISABLED) <br />WHEREAS, Center for the Independence of the Disabled (Contractor) conducts <br />a housing accessibility modification program for residents of the City of Redwood City <br />(the Program); and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) from its <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
