<br />A. Report on California State Proposition 226 presented by Vice Mayor Ruskin. Discussion <br />and/or expression of support or opposition by some or all Council Members. <br /> <br />MOTION: Support, oppose or take no position on Proposition 226; <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br />A. Route 84 (Bayfront Expressway) Extension: Marsh Road to Seaport Boulevard/Woodside <br />Road <br /> <br />MOTION: Approve staff recommendations: <br /> <br />1) That the design for the entire Measure "A" project (Bayfront Expressway, Woodside <br />Road Interchange, Woodside Road improvements, but excluding Maple Street <br />Interchange) be considered as a single improvement, and the funding for the project <br />be identified; <br /> <br />2) If the Measure "A" project endorsed in Recommendation No. I above is not feasible <br />or can not be funded, then Woodside Road/lO1 Interchange improvements should be <br />funded and constructed as Phase 1; <br /> <br />3) That the design include provisions for storm drainage which will reduce the flooding <br />potential on each side of the freeway. The minimum design should be for a tOO-year <br />storm; <br /> <br />4) That convenient bicycle access be provided across the Bayshore Freeway; and <br /> <br />5) That the expressway be designed so that noise and visual impacts to residents living <br />in the area are minimized. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />10.
