8/28/00 0 R I G I id A L (07/10/00) RESOLUTION NO. 14007 Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of Agreement With Youth and Family Assistance (Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Center) WHEREAS, Youth and Family Assistance (Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Center) is a private, non - profit organization that provides programs which serve the needs of youth and families in high -risk situations and provides readily accessible help to people in their time of greatest need, which services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and WHEREAS, Youth and Family Assistance (Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Center), has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000 and ending June 30, 2001; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an agreement with Youth and Family Assistance (Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Center) to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement (form dated 7/10/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and Youth and Family Assistance (Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Center) a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City.
