Police Department Staffing Report and Hiring Plan. <br /> <br />1) MOTION: Consider the conclusions and recommendations presented by David M. <br />Griffith and Associates as a result of their completed staffing analysis of the Redwood <br />City Police Department and subsequent specific follow-up consideration of the Traffic <br />Unit; <br /> <br />2) MOTION: Approve hiring of three sergeants, four police officers, one traffic officer, <br />one detective, three community service officers, two dispatchers and three police <br />officer overhire positions over the current fiscal year and the 1998-99 and 1999-2000 <br />fiscal years. <br /> <br />C.
