8/28/00 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />(07/10/00) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14004 <br />Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br />Agreement With Service League of San Mateo County (Hope House) <br />WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County (Hope House) is a private, non -profit <br />organization that provides a 180 recovery program for women who are released from the San Mateo <br />Women's Recovery Center who wish to resolve their alcohol and /or drug addictions, which services are in <br />furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br />WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County (Hope House), has requested financial <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000 and <br />ending June 30, 2001; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Service League of San Mateo County (Hope House) to provide financial assistance in <br />furtherance of its public purposes; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement (form dated 7/10/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br />Service League of San Mateo County (Hope House) a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and <br />the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br />
