<br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />-Commissioner Truscelli commented on the interesting monthly reports and <br />said she was appalled at the amount of graffiti and vandalism that had <br />occurred recently in our parks. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Davis said he was interested to see that the department is <br />now offering equestrian classes. He also mentioned Erlinda Tulioc's report <br />and the new program she is offering "This is Your Life". <br /> <br />-Commissioner Slusser said he liked Chris Oliver's report and the letter from <br />the student in the Intergenerational Program. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Morton said he participated in the Red Morton Steering <br />Committee meeting yesterday and is very excited about the project. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Nordness said he also enjoyed the letter from the <br />Intergenerational Program student. He asked if Magda Gonzalez's report <br />could include more manto to month comparative information regarding <br />phone calls. He thanked the department for installing the chain at Stafford <br />Park which will help protect the turf. <br /> <br />-Chairperson Swope commended Mike Blondino and his work with <br />elementary school girls to help develop their basketball skills before they play <br />at the middle school level. She reminded the Commissioners that their <br />Conflict of Interest forms are due by March 31, 1994. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Swope mentioned she would not be at the March meeting <br />and asked Vice Chairperson Truscelli if she would conduct the meeting. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was adjourned <br />at 9:55pm to be reconvened at 7:30pm on Wednesday, March, 23, 1994 to be <br />held at the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, <br />Redwood City, California. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
