~

~

Chairpersons Pete and Paula Dccelli and Chairperson Swope to sign the
letters.

Supervisor Hannon said she is getting a sample paver from the manufacturer
because the landscape architect needs to approve the color of the paver.
Supervisor Knight asked if someone could check with Commissioner Slusser
regarding the electronic items on the wish list and if there had been any
response from the grant requests. Supervisor Knight mentioned the
recreation staff of the Red Morton Center would like tß install a plaque on the
custodial door of the new facility in memory of former Red Morton facility
aide Tony Rozewski.

MIS TruscellifMorton: To accept the $100.00 contribution from the Red
Morton staff to purchase a plaque in memory of
T any Razewski.

Motion passed.

Supervisor Knight said someone suggested to her that the tiles for sale inside
the building could be imprinted with pet prints. The Commissioners felt this
would be acceptable.

Commissioner Truscelli has sold ten paver applications and also spoke to
R. C. Owens and gave him some paver applications. The fund raising pasta
dinner will be held Saturday, June 3 and tickets are available at the Gift Shop
and the CAB. Commissioner Truscelli made a presentation at an Interservice
Coordinating Council meeting about the fund raising dinner and gave out
flyers for the event. She is working with various senior groups to advertise
the event and announced she is donating a homemade afghan to help a
senior group raise money to purchase a paver. Over $4,600.00 has been
collected so far in the fund raising effort, not including the pavers sold.
Commissioner Davis asked how people could donate services and have it be
tax deductible. He will check on this matter further. Supervisor Hannon said
it may cost $2.00-$3.00 more per paver due to the use of a custom color epoxy
that may need to be used. She will have more information after the
landscape architect selects the color of the paver.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Commissioner N ordness spoke about working on obtaining a vehicle for the
Commissioners to ride in for the 4th of July Parade.

Commissioner Nordness reported that Redwood City International recently
hosted an advisory group from Zhuhai in preparation for their performing
group which will arrive in October.

~
