M 9 <br />Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br />Agreement With Mills - Peninsula Senior Focus (RSVP) <br />WHEREAS, Mills- Peninsula Senior Focus (RSVP) is a private, non - profit organization that <br />provides volunteer opportunities for people age 55 and older with a myriad of experience and interests <br />from all economic, educational, and social backgrounds, which services are in furtherance of the public <br />health, welfare and benefit; and <br />WHEREAS, Mills- Peninsula Senior Focus (RSVP), has requested financial assistance for use by <br />it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000 and ending June 30, 2001; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Mills- Peninsula Senior Focus (RSVP) to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its <br />public purposes; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement (form dated 7/10/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and Mills- <br />Peninsula Senior Focus (RSVP) a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager <br />is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />
