<br />GENERAL (continued) <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Councilman Bury reported on the ABAG (Association of Bay Area Governments) <br />General Assembly which took place on October 2 in Berkeley, noting that the <br />disposition of chemical waste materials was discussed and would be an <br />appropriate subject for a program of the Council of Mayors. (memo 10/5/82) <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Councilman Claire called attention to the City Manager's Report of <br />October 1, 1982 relating to the data services program. Acting Director of <br />Finance Becker replied to questions concerning capacity, language, programs <br />and other details regarding the City's new computer installation. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Britschgi referred to the copy of the communication from the <br />Director of Public Works to the City Manager of September 21 relating to the <br />Whipple Avenue Interchange Modification Project. <br /> <br />City Manager Smith stated that a detailed map of the State project is in the <br />Council Study, noting the State plans for construction to commence in early <br />spring 1983. <br /> <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT - In memory of John H.
