(memo 12/14/82) <br /> <br />2. Vice Mayor Britschgi requested regular reports on crime statistics <br />comparing incidents and years. <br /> <br />City Manager Smith said that staff will be glad to provide regular crime <br />reports, possibly on a quarterly basis. (memo 12/14/82) <br /> <br />3. Councilman Bury inquired regarding the nature of the advertised lIantique <br />showll being presented under Downtown Association auspices. <br /> <br />City Manager Smith said the antique show is being allowed on the basis of <br />a revocable permit and that a IIflea market II-type operation is not <br />permitted. Mr. Smith stated complaints have been received, and the show <br />is being investigated to find out if what is being offered meets permit <br />requirements. <br /> <br />4. Councilman Biagi requested that itinerant merchants of flowers~ fish~ etc. <br />in parking lots and on the streets be investigated with regard to proper <br />licensing and meeting of relevant requirements met by businessmen in the <br />City. (memo 12/14/82) <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Councilman Rhodes~ representative to the San Mateo County Civil Defense <br />and Disaster Council~ reported that that Council will soon vote on the <br />locally-approved relocation plan for use in the event of nuclear threat <br />and requested guidance in representing City Council opinion. Councilman <br />Rhodes reported that most representatives believe the plan to be <br />unworkable. <br /> <br />In response to request~ Councilman Rhodes said he would place a copy of <br />the relocation plan in the Council Study for review and will ask for <br />direction at a later meeting.
