Kelly <br /> Kelly Consulting Group <br /> 1220 Oregon Street <br /> Berkeley, CA 94702 <br /> Re: Agreement for Affirmative Action Consulting Services <br /> Dear Mr. Kelly: <br /> This will confirm retention of your firm, the Kelly <br /> Consulting Group, to provide consulting services for the <br /> development, preparation and implementation of an Affirmative <br /> Action Plan (the "Project") for the Redwood City Fire Department. <br /> Your services shall include furnishing advice to the Fire Chief, <br /> Peter O'Brien, and members of his department regarding the <br /> Project and, in that connection, working with and assisting the <br /> Fire Department Affirmative Action Committee in implementing the <br /> Project. Ultimately, the Affirmative Action Plan developed, <br /> approved and implemented by the Department shall comply with <br /> federal and state standards and regulations. You shall <br /> coordinate your services with the Fire Chief or his designee. <br /> This will acknowledge that you have provided similar <br /> consulting services under a separate agreement during Fiscal <br /> Year 7/1/91 - 6/30/92 . Accordingly, services hereunder shall <br /> constitute a continuation of such prior services during Fiscal <br /> Year 7/1/92 - 6/30/93 , compensable at the same hourly rate, or <br /> your current hourly rate, as adjusted from time-to-time; subject, <br /> however, to the maximum expenditure limitation described below. <br /> You shall also be reimbursed for your expenses directly <br /> incurred with respect to the Project. Such expenses may include <br /> the preparation or copying of documents, collection of data, long <br /> distance telephone calls, or other out-of-pocket expenses <br /> directly relating to the Project. <br /> The aggregate sum of your fees and reimbursement for costs <br /> and expenses shall not exceed Fifteen Thousand Dollars <br /> ($15 , 000 .00) . In this connection, you are advised that no <br /> payment shall be authorized in excess of that amount without the <br /> prior express approval of the Council of the City of Redwood <br /> City. <br /> 11803 <br />
