DES:dkk 07/06/92 (052/32) <br /> ORIGINAL 7/20/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11787 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR COMMUNICATIONS CONDUITS <br /> FOR THE PROPOSED POLICE FACILITY; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11760 , adopted June 8 , <br /> 1992 , the City Clerk readvertised for bids for the construction <br /> and installation of communications conduits for the proposed <br /> Redwood City Police Facility; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said readvertisement, four bids were <br /> received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, S .G. Barber Construction, Inc. of Belmont, <br /> California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of said <br /> bidder; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . The bid of S .G. Barber Construction, Inc. , in the <br /> amount of One Hundred Thirty-three Thousand Eight Hundred Fifteen <br /> and No/100 Dollars ($133 , 815. 00) , computed in accordance with <br /> said bidder' s proposal dated July 1 , 1992 , for the Communications <br /> Conduits for the Proposed Police Facility is hereby accepted, and <br /> said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> responsible bidder for said work. <br /> 2 .
