DES : ft 7/1/92 (051/30) <br /> protests have been received from, and not withdrawn by, the <br /> owners of businesses in the Area representing the amount of <br /> $22 , 218 , comprising 50 . 42% of the total proposed levy of <br /> assessments of $44 ,063; that said protests therefore represent <br /> more than 50% of the assessments proposed to be levied during <br /> said fiscal year, and that a majority protest against said <br /> assessments has thereby been made. <br /> 2 . Pursuant to the provisions of Section 36525 of the <br /> Streets and Highways Code, made applicable to these proceedings <br /> pursuant to the provisions of Section 36535 of said Code, this <br /> Council hereby orders that proceedings heretofore initiated by <br /> the Resolution of Intention, shall be, and are hereby, terminated <br /> and that the levy of assessments proposed to be made as set forth <br /> in the Report, or any modification, reduction, or revision <br /> thereof, shall not be made for fiscal year July 1 , 1992 - <br /> June 30 , 1993 . <br />
