SCOPE OF WORK: EXHIBIT "A" <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. The design of modifications to the water piping <br /> system and pumping - storage system provided for in this Agreement are described <br /> as follows: <br /> The project shall be designed to modify portions of the City' s water <br /> storage, pumping, and distributions systems in the Emerald Lake Hills area by <br /> installation of new water lines in four locations, installation of four <br /> pressure reducing stations, and the installation of a 100 horsepower pump at <br /> the Wilmington Water Station. The City will provide plats showing the <br /> general location for installation of the water lines and pressure reducing <br /> stations. The City will also provide a plat of Wilmington Tank with location <br /> of the pump and panel indicated, accompanied by a sketch of the requested <br /> tie-in of pump to tank piping and valving. The final alignment of the Oak <br /> View water line will be determined by the City after review by the City of <br /> easement considerations, the Consultant' s field survey data, and consultation <br /> with the Consultant. <br /> The Consultant shall provide and complete the following final design <br /> services within 140 days after authorization to proceed. <br /> Task 1 - Meeting/Coordinating/Site Visits <br /> The Consultant shall participate in Project meetings and site visits with <br /> the City to discuss project objectives, design criteria and field conditions <br /> to assure project understanding. The Consultant shall maintain continuing <br /> liaison; coordinate plans, designs, specifications, and estimates. <br /> Task 2 - Field Surveying <br /> The Consultant shall provide site topography within the area of the <br /> proposed work, including but not limited to existing water valves and meters, <br /> sewer manholes and cleanouts, other utilities, limits of pavement and <br /> driveways. These features would be tied to a survey line which the survey <br /> crew will attempt to tie to monumentation, if available or approximate <br /> apparent property lines if not, in order to locate improvements within the <br /> existing rights-of-way. <br />
