8/28/00 <br />O R I G I N A L 13983 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br />WOODSIDE ROAD WIDENING PROJECT (PHASE II) <br />(MARK THOMAS & CO., INC.) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the widening of Woodside <br />Road between the limits of Broadway and El Camino Real in the City of <br />Redwood City (the "Project'); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires additional <br />professional consulting engineering services; and <br />WHEREAS, Mark Thomas & Co., Inc. of Redwood City, California, <br />represents that it possesses the experience, and is qualified to perform the <br />additional aforesaid services required for the Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Professional Consulting <br />Engineering Services - Woodside Road Widening Project (Phase II)" (form dated <br />08/11/00), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of <br />the State of California, and Mark Thomas & Co., Inc., for the performance of the <br />above - mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars <br />Reno -974 1 <br />DES:djk <br />R/Shared/R edwood/Councll <br />O8/11 /00 <br />
