DES:d;1- 05/04/92 (043/32) <br /> ORIGINAL 5/11/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 11746 <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE CITY CENTER <br /> PARKING STRUCTURE PROJECT, DIRECTING RETURN OF BID <br /> SECURITY; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING PREPARATION OF <br /> REVISED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR SAID PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11702 adopted March 10 , <br /> 1992 , this Council authorized advertisement for bids for the City <br /> Center Parking Structure Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, six bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has determined that said bids <br /> (including the apparent lowest responsible bid) exceed the funds <br /> available for the Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, as a result thereof, this Council desires to <br /> exercise its reserved right to reject all bids and to direct <br /> preparation of revised plans and specifications for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> All bids received in response to advertisement for bids made <br /> pursuant to Resolution No. 11702 , adopted March 10 , 1992 , for the <br /> City Center parking Structure Project are, and each of them <br /> hereby is, rejected, the City Clerk is hereby authorized and <br /> directed to return to each bidder the bid security furnished by <br /> said bidders in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders for <br /> said improvement, and the Director of Community Development is <br /> hereby authorized and directed to prepare , or cause to be <br /> prepared, revised plans and specifications for said Project. <br />
