DES:d- L 05/09/91 (044/27) <br /> the Act, the City has followed its Citizen Participation Plan as <br /> part of the process for determining how the grant funds herein <br /> referenced will be used; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the aforementioned <br /> application for a Community Development Block Grant and to <br /> authorize the execution of all documents pertaining thereto, <br /> including all understandings and assurances connected therewith; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . That certain application prepared for submission to the <br /> United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a <br /> Community Development Block Grant pursuant to Title I of the <br /> Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 , a copy of which <br /> application is on file in the office of the Community Development <br /> Department of the City of Redwood City, to which copy reference <br /> is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved. <br /> 2 . This Council does hereby certify that the City of <br /> Redwood City has followed its adopted Citizen Participation Plan <br /> as required by Section 104 (a) of the Act. <br /> 3 . The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and <br /> file the aforesaid application, and all documents, including all <br /> understandings and assurances, necessary or appropriate in <br /> connection therewith, and to provide such additional information <br /> as may be required for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> 2 11743 <br />
