DES :d'i'' 04/09/92 (037/32) <br /> ORIGINAL 4/27/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11737 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR 1991-1992 SIDEWALK REPAIR <br /> AND TREE PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br /> FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br /> DEPOSITS <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Resolution No. 11701 , adopted March 9 , <br /> 1992 , the City Clerk advertised , for bids for the 1991-1992 <br /> Sidewalk Repair and Tree Program; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to said advertisement, three bids were <br /> received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS , Ambo Engineering, Inc. , Union City, California, is <br /> the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> of this Council to award said bid to Ambo Engineering, Inc. ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1 . The bid of Ambo Engineering, Inc. , in the amount of <br /> Five Hundred Thirty-seven Thousand Four Hundred Five and No/1.00 <br /> Dollars ($537 , 405 . 00) , computed in accordance with said bidder' s <br /> proposal dated April 8 , 1992 , for the 1991-1992 Sidewalk Repair <br /> and Tree Program, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> work. <br /> 2 .
