DES: dj 03/31/92 (034/32) <br /> O R I G I N A L 4/13/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N 0. 11726 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) <br /> TRUCK MOUNTED HIGH PRESSURE JET RODDING MACHINE AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS , the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase <br /> of one (1) truck mounted high pressure jet rodding machine; and <br /> WHEREAS , in response to said advertisement , two (2) bids <br /> were received and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS , 3T Equipment Co. of Petaluma, California, is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder, and it is the desire and intention of <br /> this Council to accept said bid of 3T Equipment Co. . ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . The bid of 3T Equipment Co. for the sale of one (1) <br /> Truck Mounted High Pressure Jet Rodding Machine to the City of <br /> Redwood City in the amount of Seventy-eight Thousand Five Hundred <br /> Fifty-eight and 25/100 Dollars ($78 ,558 .25) , computed in <br /> accordance with bidder' s proposal dated January 13 , 1992 , is <br /> hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> be the lowest responsible bidder for said equipment. <br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all necessary or appropriate documents (in form approved <br /> by the City Attorney) for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> City for the purchase of said high pressure jet rodding machine <br /> in accordance with the abovementioned bid. <br /> 3 . Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br /> 3T Equipment Co. are, and each of them is , hereby waived. <br />
