DES:djk 03/18/92 (026/32) <br /> ORIGINAL 4, 13/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11722 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF ONE (1) <br /> TURF UTILITY VEHICLE <br /> WHEREAS , written bids without public advertisement were <br /> solicited for the purchase of one (1) turf utility vehicle; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation three bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS , Turf and Industrial Equipment of Santa Clara, <br /> California, is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept the bid of said <br /> Turf and Industrial Equipment; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . The bid of Turf and Industrial Equipment for the sale <br /> of one (1) turf utility vehicle to the City of Redwood City in <br /> the amount of Eleven Thousand Two Hundred Forty-three and 39/100 <br /> Dollars ($11 , 243 . 39) in accordance with said bidder' s proposal <br /> dated March 13 , 1992 , is hereby accepted, and said bidder is <br /> hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder in response <br /> to solicitation for bids without advertisement for said <br /> equipment. <br /> 2 . Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br /> Turf and Industrial Equipment is , and each of them are, hereby <br /> waived. <br /> 3 . The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute such purchase orders or other purchase documents (in form <br /> approved by the City Attorney) to effectuate the purchase <br /> approved hereby. <br /> ........_... <br />
