DES:df+ 4/2/92 (043/30) <br /> O R I G I N A L 4/13/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11719 <br /> RESOLUTION DESIGNATING HEARING OFFICER FOR PUBLIC <br /> HEARING ON PROPOSED SOURCE REDUCTION AND RECYCLING <br /> ELEMENT AND SOLID WASTE GENERATION STUDY FOR INTEGRATED <br /> WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 2 (commencing <br /> with §41000) of Part 2 , Division 30 , of the Public Resources <br /> Code, this City is required to prepare a Source Reduction and <br /> Recycling Element for the Countywide Integrated Waste Management <br /> Plan to be prepared pursuant to Public Resources Code Section <br /> 41750 ; and <br /> WHEREAS , a draft Source Reduction and Recycling Element and <br /> draft Solid Waste Generation Study has been prepared for this <br /> City jointly with other public agencies in the County of San <br /> Mateo; and <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing has been scheduled for April 30 , <br /> 1992 , to review said draft documents; and <br /> WHEREAS , this Council desires to designate a hearing officer <br /> to act for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City at said <br /> hearing; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . This Council does hereby designate and appoint <br /> Mr. Donald Williams, San Mateo County Principal Civil Engineer, <br /> of the San Mateo County Public Works Department, to act for and <br /> on behalf of the City of Redwood City as the hearing officer for <br /> the purpose of receiving public comment and testimony, both <br /> written and oral, at the public hearing heretofore set for review <br />
