Pursuant to the provisions of Section 2 . 80 of the Code <br /> of the City of Redwood City this Council hereby finds: <br /> (a) the proposed purchase of the Equipment through the <br /> Sequoia Union High School District Cooperative <br /> purchasing program is made under competitive bidding <br /> requirements substantially equivalent to those of the <br /> City of Redwood City; <br /> (b) the Equipment proposed to be purchased substantially <br /> conforms to the specifications established therefor by <br /> the City; <br /> (c) the estimated price of the purchase is lower than that <br /> estimated for the purchase if made directly by the City <br /> pursuant to the competitive bidding requirements of <br /> Article VII of the Code of the City of Redwood City; <br /> and <br /> (d) the estimated purchase price exceeds Five Hundred <br /> Dollars ($500 .00) . <br /> 2 . Purchase of the equipment by and through the Sequoia <br /> Union High School District Cooperative purchasing program is <br /> hereby approved in an amount not to exceed the sum of Twelve <br /> Thousand Six Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($12 ,600 . 00) . <br /> 3 . The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute such purchase orders , agreement or other purchase <br /> documents (in form approved by the City Attorney) , necessary or <br /> appropriate to complete the purchase authorized and approved <br /> hereby. <br /> * * * <br /> 2 11695 <br />
