0 R I G I N A L 1/27/92 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11694 <br /> 1991 REDWOOD CITY-SAN MATEO COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PERSON OF THE YEAR AWARD <br /> DANIEL L. WEBB <br /> WHEREAS, Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce is <br /> presenting its "1991 Person of the Year Award" to Daniel L. Webb, an award <br /> also known as the President's Award, as it recognizes the one person who has <br /> made the greatest impact on the success of a President's year; and <br /> WHEREAS, the people of Redwood City join in making this award to Dan <br /> Webb, who following his year as President, when most people are reducing <br /> their activity, Dan is continuing to display enthusiasm for the Chamber's <br /> over-all programs, accepting new responsibilities, and continuing to <br /> demonstrate personal dedication and commitment to the success of the Chambers <br /> goals; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bay Area Bank continues to be one of the Chambers sponsors of <br /> both the Tom Rathman Celebrity Golf Tournament and the Annual Progress <br /> Seminar, Dan not only participates himself in his role as President and Chief <br /> Executive Officer of Bay Area Bank, but encourages his staff to participate <br /> in Chamber activities as well ; and <br /> WHEREAS, Dan has continued to bring together all segments of the <br /> community for the common good of Redwood City, chairing the Redevelopment <br /> Task Force, and a series of seven dialogue breakfasts with our individual <br /> legislators, one of the Chamber's most successful new programs; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> That DANIEL L. WEBB be congratulated on his receipt of the "1991 PERSON OF <br /> THE YEAR AWARD" from the Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce, <br /> commended on his exemplary record of civic leadership and responsibility, <br /> and extended sincere best wishes for continued success in the future. <br />
