DAL:dft 1/7/92 (019/31) <br /> O R I G I N A L 11/20/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11672 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH LIPMAN INSURANCE ADMINISTRATORS, INC. , <br /> FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF A FLEXIBLE BENEFIT PLAN FOR <br /> CITY EMPLOYEES <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation <br /> of the State of California, ( "City") , has established and <br /> administers a flexible benefits plan for its employees; and <br /> WHEREAS , Lipman Insurance Administrators , Inc. , ("Contract <br /> Administrator") , is presently administering the flexible benefit <br /> plan for the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, City hereby finds that Contract Administrator is <br /> experienced and competent to administer a flexible benefit plan; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Contract Administrator has represented to City that <br /> it is qualified and willing to continue to administer the <br /> flexible benefits plan; and <br /> WHEREAS , new agreement needs to be entered into, whereby the <br /> Contract Administrator continues to administrate the flexible <br /> benefits plan for City' s employees; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for <br /> approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Lipman <br /> Insurance Administrators, Inc. , retroactive from August 1 , 1991 , <br /> and effective until July 31 , 1992 , and it is the intention and <br /> desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> FOLLOWS : <br />
