DES:djk 01 /03/92 (051/28) <br /> O R I G I N A L 1, 13/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11670 <br /> RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE REDWOOD CITY ALMANAC AS THE <br /> OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 90 of the <br /> Charter of the City of Redwood City and Resolution No. 11640 , <br /> adopted November 18 , 1991 , proposals were solicited from all <br /> newspapers of general circulation in the City for the publication <br /> of all matters of the City required to be published; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Redwood City Almanac, which has been <br /> adjudicated as a newspaper of general circulation and which has <br /> its principal office of publication located in the City, is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder responding to said solicitation for <br /> bids; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to designate the Redwood City <br /> Almanac as the official newspaper of the City of Redwood City; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1 . The proposal of the Redwood City Almanac submitted in <br /> response to the advertisement for bids for designation as the <br /> official newspaper of the City pursuant to Resolution No. 11640 <br /> is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared the lowest <br /> responsible bidder for said designation. <br /> 2 . Any and all informalities in the bid of said Redwood <br /> City Almanac are hereby waived. <br /> 3 . The Redwood City Almanac is hereby designated as the <br /> official newspaper of the City of Redwood City <br />
