NOLTE AND ASSOCIATES, INC. - SAN JOSE) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City proposes to construct <br /> <br />grade separations at railroad crossings with Jefferson Avenue, <br /> <br />Brewster Avenue and Whipple Avenue (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project the City requires <br /> <br />expert consulting engineering services for preparation of a grade <br /> <br />separation study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, George S. Nolte and Associates, Inc. - San Jose, of <br /> <br />San Jose, California, represents that it is qualified, on the <br /> <br />basis of experience and expertise, to perform the unique <br /> <br />professional consulting engineering services required for the <br /> <br />Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />Consulting Engineering Services" (form dated 12/10/90R) by and <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the <br /> <br />State of California and George S. Nolte and Associates, Inc. - <br /> <br />San Jose, Consulting Engineers, for the preparation of a railroad <br /> <br />crossing grade separation study, a copy of which agreement is on <br /> <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br /> <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved <br />
