'1 1 4: 4 2 <br /> <br />NOV 0 S 1990 <br /> <br />\) K:~: <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns that certain personal <br /> <br />property listed on Exhibit II A", attached hereto and by this <br /> <br />reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such <br /> <br />property is not needed for present or prospective municipal or <br /> <br />public purposes, and should be declared surplus; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and <br /> <br />determined that the current reasonable market value of the total <br /> <br />of each of the surplus items to be sold as a unit is less than <br /> <br />Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />declare said property surplus and authorize its sale in <br /> <br />accordance with Section 3~ of the Charter of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that <br /> <br />those items listed on Exhibit II A" are surplus; that they are no <br /> <br />longer necessary or required for municipal or public purposes; <br /> <br />and that the appraised value of the total of each of the items to <br /> <br />be sold as a unit is less than Five Thousand and Dollars <br /> <br />($5,000.00) . <br /> <br />2. This Council hereby authorizes the sale of the <br /> <br />City-owned property described in Exhibit II A" in accordance with <br /> <br />Section 3~ of the Charter of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
