<br />DES:djk -10/09/90 (028/28) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />OCT 1 5 1990 <br />N o. 11431 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE FURNISHING OF WATER <br />SAMPLING AND TESTING IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11369, adopted by this <br />Council on August 13, 1990, the City Clerk readvertised for bids <br /> <br />for the furnishing of water sampling and testing in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call for bids, three bids were <br /> <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, McIntosh Laboratories, San Jose, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to McIntosh Laboratories; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of McIntosh Laboratories, in the sum of <br /> <br />Seventeen Thousand One Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($17,100.00), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />September 4, 1990 for the furnishing of water sampling and <br /> <br />testing, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement - For the Furnishing of <br /> <br />Water Sampling and Testing - 1990-91", (form dated 10/09/90), by <br />
