<br />R I ~ Q 1 li I 1 Q N. <br /> <br />1142 7 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 1 5 1990 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY FOR <br /> <br />FAMILIES IN PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City Public Library is presently engaged in the operation <br />of a Project Read and desires to conduct Families in Partnership Program for <br />residents of the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City Public Library Project Read has requested financial <br /> <br />assistance in order to conduct such a program for residents of the City during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1990, and ending June 30, 1991; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires <br /> <br />to allocate to Project Read the sum of Nine Thousand Eight Hundred and No/lOa <br /> <br />Dollars ($9,800.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and Redwood City Public Library Project Read <br /> <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 10/10/90), by and between the City of <br />Redwood City and Redwood City Public Library Project Read, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference <br />is hereby made for full part i cul ars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
