<br />R I ~ Q L U I 1 Q N. 11 42 6 <br /> <br />[OCT 1 5 1990 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH <br />MIDPENINSULA CITIZENS FOR FAIR HOUSING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing is presently engaged in <br /> <br />the operation of a Fair Housing Counseling Program and desires to conduct a fair <br /> <br />housing counseling program for residents of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing has requested financial <br />assistance in order to conduct such a program for residents of the City during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1990, and ending June 30, 1991; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires <br /> <br />to allocate to Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing the sum of Twenty Seven <br /> <br />Thousand and Sixty Six and No/lOa Dollars ($27,066.00) from its Community <br /> <br />Development Block Grant funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing, and <br />it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 10/10/90), by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference <br /> <br />is hereby made for full part i cul ars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
