<br />OCT 1 5 1990 <br /> <br />ORIGIN;~L <br /> <br />R I ~ Q L li I 1 Q N. <br /> <br />11423 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH <br />CENTER FOR THE INDEPENDENCE OF THE DISABLED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Center for the Independence of the Disabled is presently engaged <br /> <br />in the operation of a Housing Accessibility Modification Program and desires to <br />conduct a housing accessibility modification program for residents of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Center for the Independence of the Disabled has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance in order to conduct such a program for residents of the <br /> <br />City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1990, and ending June 30, 1991; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires <br /> <br />to allocate to Center for the Independence of the Disabled the sum of Sixteen <br /> <br />Thousand and No/lOa Dollars ($16,000.00) from its Community Development Block <br /> <br />Grant funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Center for the Independence of <br /> <br />the Disabled, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the <br /> <br />same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 10/10/90), by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Center for the Independence of the Disabled, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference <br /> <br />is hereby made for full part i cul ars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
